Dear PSA Director,

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) offers you a new PSA campaign for your older adult listeners and their families. BenefitsCheckUp.org is a free, non-commercial website.

At BenefitsCheckUp.org, with just a few clicks, older adults can determine if they are eligible to get economic assistance to make ends meet.

There are over 2,500 programs available nationwide that help people aged 60 and over get an average of $250 per month, or $3,000 per year, in benefits to pay for food, medicine, and utilities. BenefitsCheckUp.org has helped almost 8 million people get $30 billion in benefits at no cost to them. The trusted nonprofit NCOA manages the BenefitsCheckUp.org website.

As our population ages, many find that they are outliving their savings and NCOA, a 501(c)3 organization, wants to help struggling older adults achieve economic security. We are asking for a few seconds of your air time, not to ask for money but to connect people with benefits to boost their monthly budgets. We are asking for 15, 30 or 60 seconds of your time, to make a lifetime of difference in the lives of older Americans.
